How to play Light Cycles
Light Cycles is a one-on-one duel in a walled arena. Both bikes move forward all the time and leave a solid wall of light behind them, so all you can do is turn. Hit the arena edge, your own trail or your rival's and you crash. If both bikes crash on the same step, including head-on, the round is a draw.
Choose vs AI or Two players. Against the AI you ride the cyan bike and steer with WASD, the arrow keys, swipes or the on-screen pad. With two players, Player 1 uses WASD and Player 2 the arrow keys on one keyboard. The bikes speed up the longer a round lasts, and the first to win five rounds takes the match.
Tips
- βΈThink about space. The AI judges how much open area each turn leaves it, so try to wall it into the smaller part of the arena.
- βΈTo cut off a rival, ride alongside them slightly ahead, then turn across their path.
- βΈYou can queue two turns, so two quick taps make a tight U-turn through a narrow gap.
