How to play Tunnel Rush 3D

You fly a small ship along the inside wall of a glowing tunnel. Press Left or Right (or A and D) to spin around it; the view turns with you, so your ship stays near the bottom of the screen. On a touchscreen, hold the left or right half of the screen.

Barriers rush towards you: curved walls covering anything from a quarter to about two thirds of the tunnel, pairs of walls on opposite sides, rings of blocks with gaps between them, and back-to-back walls that force a quick switch. Your score is the distance you travel in metres. The speed keeps rising, wider walls appear as you go faster, and one hit ends the run.

Tips

• ▸Spin the short way. When a wall covers more than half the tunnel, the gap is closer in one direction, so decide early which way that is.
• ▸Use short presses for small corrections; holding a direction makes it easy to overshoot a narrow gap.
• ▸Look past the next obstacle. Back-to-back walls sit on opposite sides, so aim for a spot that clears the second one too.
• ▸In rings of blocks, head for the widest gap, not the nearest; the spacing is uneven.

Why does it get so hard so quickly?

The speed keeps rising for about a minute until it is nearly four times the starting pace, and wider walls appear as you speed up.
