How to play City Defender
Enemy missiles streak down from the top of the screen towards your six cities and three missile silos. Click or tap a point in the sky and the nearest silo with ammo fires a counter-missile that explodes there. Any enemy missile caught in the blast is destroyed, and its own explosion can catch others nearby.
Each silo holds 10 missiles per wave. Destroying an enemy missile scores 25 points, or 50 for a splitting missile caught before it divides. After each wave you get 5 points per unused missile and 100 per surviving city. Silos are restored every wave, and one lost city is rebuilt every third wave. The game ends when all six cities are gone.
Tips
- βΈAim ahead of a missile, not at it. Your counter-missile takes time to climb, so target where the enemy will be when the blast goes off.
- βΈPlace blasts where several trails meet. Each destroyed missile explodes too and can set off a chain reaction.
- βΈSplitting missiles have slightly larger warheads. Hit them high up before they divide, for double points and fewer targets.
- βΈProtect the silos as well as the cities. A silo that is hit loses all its remaining missiles for that wave.
City Defender FAQ
- Why can't I fire?
- Either every silo is out of missiles, which shows an OUT OF AMMO message, or you clicked too close to the ground. Silos are refilled at the start of each wave.
- Do destroyed cities come back?
- Yes, slowly. At the start of every third wave (wave 4, 7, 10 and so on) one destroyed city is rebuilt.
- Do the waves get harder in City Defender?
- Yes. Each wave sends more missiles, up to 40, and they fall faster, arrive closer together and split more often.
